Go to this website- she has lots of FREE resources for the taking (the actions are under Actions and Presets).  Find an action that you really like and apply it to your photo!

We are starting a UNIT this week called THINGS!!!   So you will need to take 24 photo of each theme, not just 1.  We will be doing some in class and some out of class.  There are examples of these things on the Digital Camera website.   First you will need to do a worksheet, this is about an photographer who takes photos of you guessed it THINGS!  The worksheet is in the Digital Camera folder.  Complete it and put it in YOUR folder.......remember it will be automatically shared with me!

For each assignment you will get 2 grades- one for a contact sheet EASY 24 POINTS and one for your best picture.  The contact sheet gets handed in your Digital Camera Google Doc Folder.

Wednesday we will be taking pictures of Bottles for you unit- theses photos will go on NEXT QUARTER grades!

You next theme is EGGS!  You can find examples here!  This is what I am looking for:

Assignment:  Eggs- arrange several eggs on a white background and photograph them.
Goal: Explore the possibilities of a repeated simple shape, light and shadow, of a white subject on a white background, and a “set up” shot all at once.  Try to get a photo in which the eggs are arranged in a pleasing composition, which are enhanced by the shadows.
            Tips:
q  Try using a large sheet of paper so you can experiment freely with composition.
q  Shoot in bright sunlight and or bright lights for different shadows
Change your composition; don’t just take 24 pictures one set up.
