Digital Camera Class
This is how we are going to do digital camera class this quarter. Each these specific due dates, if not turned in, you will not receive credit for them. Everything will be posted to the blog so if you are gone you can check it.
1. I will post things to the Digital Camera Blog- assignments etc. you will be expected to post comments and or link up your posts to the blog weekly.
2. You will hand things into 2 places- the blog you set up and Schoology.
3. You need to keep up with the class, this is very important, if you fall behind it is VERY hard to catch up!!! Once a linky closes the assignment is OVER and you can still receive a grade, but you won't be "eligable" for best in show and 5 points will be taken off both your photograph grade and your blog grade. LINKIES CLOSE ON TUESDAYS AND THURSDAYS (on week after calendar date)
4. You will have very little time to take photos in class. I do not need 50 photos of the school. Monday photos should be taken by Mondays and can only be taken OUTSIDE OF CLASS! We will have 1-2 days a week where we take photos in class. Class time is to be used to work on Photoshop, Iphoto, and blogging- NOT TO SURF THE WEB.
Schedule:
Monday- BRING CAMERA TO DOWNLOAD YOUR THEME PHOTO. Theme and Weekly Photos DUE! Today is a blogging day. You will be expected to post your photos to the blog about the topic for the week. Mrs. Riehle will have a topic ready for you and it will relate to the photos/tutorials for the week.
Tuesday- Basic Photo Editing day- we will be building on each week until the end of the quarter. The tips you use in class will be applied to your theme photo as well as to your in class photos.
Wednesday- BRING CAMERA We will be taking photos in class- inside and out. If you don’t have your camera you will be docked points. You will take 10-15 photos.
Thursday- Fun Tutorial Day- we will be applying fun tutorials and techniques to the photos you took in class the day before.
Friday- Work day- you can use this day to ask questions about the photos we took, take more if you need to or blog. You cannot take theme photos! Blogging topics are due on Fridays.
New Themes will be posted to the calendar at least 2 weeks in advance.
1 Themed and 1 "Wednesday" Photos from each class will be picked by Mrs. Riehle each week to be put into the showcase-these photos will receive 100% on their theme photo.
